Abstract From the Canadian patent

A mill comprises a static frame and a movable frame interconnected by springs. The movable frame carries a milling ring and a motor. The motor is driving a roller for running along the inner side of the milling ring. Material is crushed between the ring and the roller. Mounting the motor to the movable frame simplifies the design of the mill and dampens the oscillating movements of the movable frame.

Why it's free to use

  • Filed July 5, 1999. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended July 5, 2019.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by July 5, 2021.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
