The invention relates to a data transmission device for controlling or adjusting an operational process, whereby said process is carried out using a plurality of machines having at least one control device (5) with a control unit allocated thereto. The control device (5) is connected to an operator device to steer the movements of the machine unit and comprises means to detect operating states of the machine unit.
