The invention concerns an emulsion, more particularly for makeup containing water, a fatty constituent selected among the optionally volatile oils and/or waxes and a polymeric colouring agent characterised in that the polymeric colouring agent is selected among the sulphopolyester polyamide, polyurethane, polyacrylic polymers or their mixtures.
