A photometer (10) for measuring electromagnetic radiation absorption of a sample. Electromagnetic radiation is conducted from a source (14) to a sample sensor or sensors (36), and is passed through or scattered from the sample , utilizing a sample cell (37). The electromagnetic radiation is then directed to a detection system (54) which determines absorbance of electromagnetic radiation by the sample. The detection system (54) includes a beam splitter (58) which receives the electromagnetic radiation and outputs first and second beams (64, 66). Why it's free to use
- Filed November 14, 1997. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended November 14, 2017.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by November 14, 2019.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
