Abstract From the Canadian patent

The invention concerns a device comprising means (10) for determining an image registration transformation between a first data set of a first image and a second data set of a second image, means (20) for re-sampling the first data set into a third data set which can be directly superimposed sample by sample on the second set, processing means (30) for determining on the basis of the , second and third data sets a difference-data set representing the differences between zones of the images capable of being superimposed constituted by the second and third data sets.
