Abstract From the Canadian patent

A band elimination dielectric filter in which the non loaded Q is increased by approximately eliminating the actual current flowing in a shield cavity and the height is, reduced, is provided. The band elimination dielectric filter includes a conductive shield cavity 11 a dielectric, resonator 12 which is arranged in the shield cavity 11 and in which electrodes 18 are formed on two surfaces opposite to each other; and an external coupling means 13 which is arranged in the shield cavity and connected to the dielectric resonator 12.

Why it's free to use

  • Filed January 4, 1999 and granted August 5, 2003. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended January 4, 2019.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by January 4, 2021.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
