A microwave cooking device having a generally cylindrical door assembly opens to permit movement of a food container in upwardly vertical direction. The generally cylindrical door assembly has a rigid or flexible microwave-opaque screen so as to be opened and closed to reveal the interior chamber in sliding folding, rolling, or rotational movement. A means for water molecules to escape from the interior chamber may be provided. Why it's free to use
- Filed November 24, 1998 and granted January 2, 2001. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended November 24, 2018.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by November 24, 2020.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
