Abstract From the Canadian patent

A signal sampling circuit for performing correlated double sampling (CDS) of an input signal with a pipelined sample and hold architecture includes a time multiplexed integrating amplifier circuit in which the output circuit is a pipelined sample and hold circuit which provides time multiplexed input signal samples and the feedback integration capacitor is discharged between samples. At all times, one of the channels of the pipelined sample and hold circuit is providing one of the time multiplexed input signal samples while the other channel continues tracking the input signal. The feedback integration capacitor acts as a clamp to out residual reset noise received as part of the …

Why it's free to use

  • Filed November 19, 1997 and granted April 2, 2002. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended November 19, 2017.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by November 19, 2019.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
