Abstract From the Canadian patent
A bow-mounted archery quiver having a twin-hood design provides improved noise reduction and balance features. Arrows are held in a vertical position and may be removed in either of two directions relative to the archer. An arrow-holding element is formed from an elastomeric material preferably a viscoelastic polyurethane elastomer. The quiver is provided with an offset configuration so as not to interfere with operation of the bow. The quiver may be mounted to the side of the handle riser of a bow, using a dovetail mounting arrangement. A quick release mechanismallows for positive one-hand push-button release of the quiver from the archery bow.

Why it's free to use
- Filed July 27, 1998. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended July 27, 2018.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by July 27, 2020.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
