Abstract From the Canadian patent

A stroke limiting structure for use with a lift control system on an implement includes a reciprocating link operably connected to a hydraulic cylinder and to a lift wheel assembly on an implement frame section. The link is connected by a lost motion connection to depth gauging structure including gauge plates pivotally supported on a carrier. Why it's free to use

  • Filed June 25, 1998 and granted February 27, 2001. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended June 25, 2018.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by June 25, 2020.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
