Abstract From the Canadian patent

The high pressure feed pump (14) has a plunger cylinder (26) and a cylindrical plunger piston (28) moved back and forth therein. The plunger cylinder (26) and the plunger piston (28) delimit a feed space (24) which, in the case of a filling stroke (F) of the plunger piston (28) can, be connected via a filling valve (24) to a supply space for a feed medium. Furthermore in the, case of a feed stroke (F') of the plunger piston (28) the feed space (24) can be connected via a delivery valve (42) to a high pressure space. The plunger cylinder (26) is of essentially rotationally symmetric design and is surrounded with a press fit by a pressure body (44). The external prestress exerted by the …

Why it's free to use

  • Filed May 28, 1998. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended May 28, 2018.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by May 28, 2020.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
