Abstract From the Canadian patent

The invention relates to a process for regulating the oxygen content of water exiting a device for dissolving oxygen in water in which the oxygen content, Cs, of the water exiting the device is measured using a sensor and compared with a set point Cconsig. If Cs is lower than Cconsig, an oxygen supply cycle of the said device is triggered comprising an oxygen injection time (Ti) during which an oxygen flow control valve supplying the device is in the open position and an inhibition time, Tp, during which the said valve is in the closed position.

Why it's free to use

  • Filed May 26, 1998. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended May 26, 2018.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by May 26, 2020.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
