This invention concerns a monocompound coreactive latex-based system capable of resulting in coatings that are low-temperature curable and postcurable by thermal treatment. The system according to the invention is constituted by the mixing of two particle dispersions each obtained by polymerization in aqueous emulsion of a compound of monomers respectively A and B. At least one monomer with ethylene unsaturation free radical polymerizable comprising a functional group IMG , X representing O or S enters into (see fig I) the composition of A monomers; and at least one monomer with ethylene unsaturation free radical polymerizable comprising one N-alkylol or hidden N-alkylol functional group …

Why it's free to use
- Filed April 29, 1998 and granted September 17, 2002. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended April 29, 2018.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by April 29, 2020.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
