A perforated metal sheet is removably mounted to a bracket fastened around a window on the inside of a vehicle. The perforations are selected to allow a person inside the vehicle to see out, while providing a display surface for printed indicia that may be viewed from the inside of the vehicle. The printed indicia may be provided on both sides of the sheet so the sheet can be removed and turned over when one side of the sheet is vandalized.

Why it's free to use
- Filed May 1, 1998. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended May 1, 2018.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by May 1, 2020.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
