A shaft of the present invention is formed as an axially elongated member for use in sports equipment, such as golf clubs fishing rods or the , like. The, shaft is made from composite polymers such as a graphite composite and , includes an outer sidewall which extends radially about an axis to define a substantially hollow, or resin filled core.
