A fuel reforming apparatus comprising a liquid-feed heating portion (1), an evaporation portion (2) a steam, superheating portion (3), a reforming portion (4) a CO, oxidization portion (5), a catalytic combustion portion (6), and a heat recovery portion (7). These portions are constituted by flat plates provided with heat-transfer fins in the interior and are stacked into integral structure thereby obtaining temperature distribution along a stacked direction so that the temperature of the flat plate element becomes a temperature suitable for reforming combustion, evaporation, shift, and CO oxidization.

Why it's free to use
- Filed February 19, 1998 and granted August 27, 2002. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended February 19, 2018.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by February 19, 2020.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
