A silicone connection including a body and two ends. The body has a 90 degree angle and one of its channels is longer than the other. The ends include two protrusions on their outer part spaced so as to form a groove. The internal surface of the end is hollowed to make a notch which allows the inclusion of a stainless steel ring which continues the smooth surface.

Why it's free to use
- Filed April 16, 1998 and granted July 15, 2003. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended April 16, 2018.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by April 16, 2020.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
