The Hand Doll is a basket that can be used to carry items or can be put on display. The basket consists of a bowl shape portion including a back wall, two hands and a handle. The unique feature of this basket is that the two hands form the "roof" of the basket. The basket is constructed out of light weight and flexible materials and thus not heavy to carry. The handle provides an easy way to carry the basket.

Why it's free to use
- Filed March 19, 1998. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended March 19, 2018.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by March 19, 2020.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
