An integrated construction panel (1) is designed for use in the construction of modular buildings. The panel comprises a grid (5 6) of structural studs , made of fire-proof material bonded together by an adhesive with a high degree of elasticity. A rigid frame (2) surrounds the grid and is attached to the end of the studs. The frame is adapted to mate with an adjacent similar panel. Front (8b) and rear wall (8) members are attached to the frame to define a substantially enclosed space therewithin. A closed cell foam substantially fills the space to provide additional adhesion and distribute external loads throughout the panel.

Why it's free to use
- Filed April 28, 1997. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended April 28, 2017.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by April 28, 2019.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
