A ceiling ventilation inlet (10) includes a housing having an air inlet aperture (14), an air outlet aperture (16) and a baffle (20) supported for , linear movement adjacent the air outlet aperture (16). A spring (50) is positioned such that the baffle (20) moves dependant upon air pressure difference between the confinement space and the external environment. Air entering the housing opens the baffle (20) and enters the livestock confinement building in a 360 degree dispersion pattern. The spring (50) causes the baffle (20) to direct the flow of air into the confinement space at a near constant rate so as to optimize ventilation. Why it's free to use
- Filed June 6, 1996 and granted October 1, 2002. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended June 6, 2016.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by June 6, 2018.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
