SQUID magnetometer comprising two non-damped Josephson junctions. In the invention, the damping of the SQUID magnetometer is implemented by using an impedance placed either across the junction transversely in parallel with the junction or in parallel with the inductance connecting the junctions or by using a combination of these. The invention further comprises a method for eliminating LC and microwave resonances from the system. In this method integrated LRC elements , are added to the structure.

Why it's free to use
- Filed June 2, 1995 and granted November 27, 2001. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended June 2, 2015.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by June 2, 2017.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
