Abstract From the Canadian patent

A constant envelope quadrature-quadrature amplitude modulation system is directed to solve the problem that the amplitudes of output signals change according to output data in the conventional Q2AM system, implementing the constant envelope characteristic for the non-linear communication system. The present invention limits the data which will be, transmitted, to 4-bit and adds 4-bit parity to make them have the constant envelope in the Q2AM system which modulates 8-bit, in the unit of 2-bit and includes: a constant envelope, encoder for adding 4-bit parity to 4-bit input information; four mappers 12 to 15 for respectively generating level signals corresponding to data values of 2-bit among …

Why it's free to use

  • Filed November 18, 1997. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended November 18, 2017.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by November 18, 2019.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
