This invention involves new derivatives of s-triazine containing at least one silicon radical substituent and at least one amino-benzylidene camphor amino-benzalmalonate, amino-benzoate or amino-benzotriazole amino-benzimidazole, amino-benzoxazole amino-benzothiazole, amino-salicylate, amino-cinnamate or amino-cinnamonitrile radical. These compounds are particularly useful as organic sunscreens in cosmetic formulations intended to protect skin and hair against ultraviolet A radiation. The invention involves using these compounds in the above-described cosmetic application as well as in the value-added cosmetic formulations which contain them.
