The invention concerns a preparation process for a magnesium-based nanocomposite and another element or compound known for absorbing hydrogen and being non-miscible upon grinding with magnesium or its hydride such as vanadium or nobium. According to this process magnesium or a magnesium-based compound known for absorbing hydrogen is subjected to hydrogenation with a view to producing the corresponding hydride in powder form. The resulting hydride powder is mixed with the other element or compound or a hydride of this other element or compound and the resulting mixture is subjected to intense mechanical grinding until the corresponding nanocomposite in hydride form is obtained. Why it's free to use
- Filed October 22, 1997. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended October 22, 2017.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by October 22, 2019.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
