A collapsible stroller for transporting a passenger includes a frame (12) movable between a collapsed position and an operating position. The frame (12) includes rotatably mounted wheels (22) for providing the stroller with mobility. A passenger seat (54) is provided for receiving the passenger. At least a portion of the passenger seat is movably mounted on the frame between a first position and a second position. A latch (88) is mounted on the frame (12) and the seat (54). The latch releasably holds the seat (54) in the first position.
