Abstract From the Canadian patent

An image pickup condition data acquisition section acquires image pickup main condition data representing image pickup conditions for a three-dimensional main camera unit. An address generation section obtains an address on the basis of the image pickup main condition data from the image pickup main condition data acquisition section. Why it's free to use

  • Filed August 26, 1997 and granted October 24, 2000. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended August 26, 2017.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by August 26, 2019.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
