We have discovered that by using a recombinant DNA viral vector preferably a , pox virus vector having at least one insertion site containing a DNA segment encoding the carcinoma self-associated antigen or a cytotoxic T-cell , eliciting epitope thereof operablylinked to a promoter capable of expression in the host, human cytotoxic T-cells specific for the carcinoma selfassociated antigens can be produced. The method preferably comprises introducing a sufficient amount of the recombinant pox virus vector into a host to stimulate production of cytotoxic T-cells and contacting the host , with additional antigen at periodic intervals thereafter. Why it's free to use
- Filed February 13, 1996 and granted November 12, 2013. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended February 13, 2016.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by February 13, 2018.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
