The invention concerns compositions containing at least one polyamide (A) and at least one copolymer (B) of ethylene and of at least one unsaturated carboxylic acid anhydride (or acid). These compositions are such that the impact/flow (I/F) index for compositions containing 90 parts of (A) to 10 parts of (B) is greater than 1.5 when the compositions contain essentially no glass fibres and such that the I/F index for compositions containing 60 parts of (A) to 10 parts of (B) plus glass fibres is greater than 0.9. The I/F index is defined as the ratio of (i) the product of the Izod notch impact resistance at 23 degrees C and the melt flow index (MFI) to (ii) the product of the impact …

Why it's free to use
- Filed July 22, 1997. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended July 22, 2017.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by July 22, 2019.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
