In the cash register systems in use today it is known that employees can steal, or make short change mistakes to customers, and have to make deposits at the end of each shift or sometimes even during, to avoid the risk of being robbed. In this invention the cash register is connected to an automatic change maker and to a strong safe deposit making it all one function and very safe.

Why it's free to use
- Filed April 23, 1997. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended April 23, 2017.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by April 23, 2019.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
