An anchoring system attached to a wall with holes that has two outer and inner surfaces and a base formed by a rim on its periphery that rests against the wall and is attached to it and a central part that is incurved (so it protrudes towards the inside of the wall and beyond the inner surface). The anchoring system also has a hook that does not extend past the wall's outer surface but is attached to the central part of the base and on which an external force is applied.

Why it's free to use
- Filed April 1, 1997 and granted May 25, 1999. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended April 1, 2017.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by April 1, 2019.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
