Abstract From the Canadian patent

A clamping device for clamping motorcycle wheels onto the shaft of a balancing machine, with a mechanism to center the wheels on the shaft of a balancing machine and with two diametrically opposed carriers that are radially displaceable against the wheel so that they become frictionally engaged with thewheel as well as a mechanism for radially pressing the carriers against the wheel. The carriers include swivel arms that pivot around a drag bearing and are arranged in diametric opposition to one another and at the same radial distance from one another.
