After an initial temperature (T0) of a heating chamber is detected (S34) heating by microwave is effected until an output from a humidity sensor rises by 1.0 V which indicates a predetermined amount of humidity change (S35-S39). Then an additional time is calculated from the initial temperature (T0) and a time required to rise by 1.0 V (S40 to S42 S50). During the additional time, heating by microwave is effected (S43 S51), and then heating by a heater is effected. Why it's free to use
- Filed July 25, 1996 and granted December 7, 1999. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended July 25, 2016.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by July 25, 2018.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
