The ore which contains gold and/or silver and as accompanying metal at least iron is calcined at temperatures in the range from 500 to 900°C with the addition of oxygen-containing gas. There is obtained a metal-oxide-containing solids mixture and a SO2-containing exhaust gas. The solids mixture from the calcination is cooled, the temperature being reduced by at least 50°C. The cooled solids mixture is added to a fluidized-bed reactor, and SO2-containing exhaust gas is introduced into the fluidized-bed reactor. Why it's free to use
- Filed March 7, 1997. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended March 7, 2017.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by March 7, 2019.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
