Tri-port joints, each of which includes revolvable rollers to be directly fitted to outer circumferential surfaces of spider shafts, are provided respectively at both ends of an input-side shaft to which slave driving force is transmitted. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent a slave driving system from transmission of unnecessary torque and, obtain a slave driving force-transmitting mechanism which is compact and light in weight, having a structure simplified as compared with those of the conventional technique.

Why it's free to use
- Filed December 31, 1996 and granted October 3, 2000. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended December 31, 2016.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by December 31, 2018.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
