A method for partial oxidation of aromatic compounds such as benzene phenol, chlorobenzene, fluombenzene, toluene ethylbenzene, and the like, with a molar deficiency of nitrous oxide over a catalyst such as a ZSM-5 or ZSM-11 zeolite. Why it's free to use
- Filed April 12, 1995 and granted August 21, 2001. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended April 12, 2015.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by April 12, 2017.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
