Abstract From the Canadian patent

In accordance with the invention, the differential charge amplifier includes the means to subtract allowing the difference between two measurement currents delivered by a differential sensor (10) to be calculated and the means to integrate which comprises only a single integration capacitor to integrate the signal delivered by the means to subtract. According to a first operation mode the subtraction means include a negative immittance impedance converter (21) and the integration means (25) are comprised of an operational amplifier mounted as an integrator. According to a second operation mode the subtraction and integration means are comprised of a differential current amplifier charged by …

Why it's free to use

  • Filed October 9, 1996 and granted May 20, 2003. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended October 9, 2016.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by October 9, 2018.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
