A hybrid notch filter comprises an impedance inverter network connected across a two port filter network. In its simplest form the impedance inverter , network comprises impedance inverters of substantially 2 characteristic admittance connected between the input and output ports across which the two port filter network is connected, and impedance inverters of substantially unity characteristic admittance interconnecting the 2 characteristic admittance impedance inverters at their respective ends. The two port filter network may be a plurality of serially connected resonators and is connected across the output ports of the impedance inverter network. The hybrid notch filter may be …

Why it's free to use
- Filed November 24, 1994. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended November 24, 2014.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by November 24, 2016.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
