Abstract From the Canadian patent

A rotary mineral crusher of a kind where material is thrown from a rotor after having migrated across a retained bed of material retained by a wear tip. The invention recognises the benefit of shaping the retained bed of material to a trough-like form so that a greater volume of material being thrown from the bed of the rotor (after migration over the wear tip) moves along that material defined surface with only some of the thrown material being able to contact the wear up.

Why it's free to use

  • Filed October 18, 1994. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended October 18, 2014.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by October 18, 2016.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
