An object of the present invention is to overcome the disadvantages of a conventional combustor having a fuel-air premixing nozzle wherein variation in combustion rate resulting from variation in the fuel concentration of the premixed gas cause variation in flame length and may eventually lead to the development of combustive vibration. This invention provides a combustion method and combustor which is characterized in that a fluid (8) containing no fuel is fed between a premixed gas layer (2) formed by injecting a premixed gas through a premixing nozzle (1) and a hot gas layer (5) formed from a portion of the hot gas resulting from the combustion of the premixed gas the hot, gas layer (5) …

Why it's free to use
- Filed March 8, 1994 and granted September 7, 1999. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended March 8, 2014.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by March 8, 2016.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
