A modular sheetfeed printing press is provided herein. The printing press includes at least one printing unit and, at least one feeder module. An alignment unit is incorporated at an end of each at least one printing unit the, alignment unit being adapted to be connected to an associated feeder module. A complementary alignment unit is incorporated at an end of each at least one feeder module the complementary alignment unit being adapted to be connected to an associated printing unit.
