Abstract From the Canadian patent

Uniform, free-flowing, non-friable P2S5 granules having a predetermined reactivity can be produced by accretion by spraying molten P2S5 onto cascading, smaller solid particles of P2S5. The process can be used to produce any reactivity grade of P2S5 by adjusting processing conditions. The process can also be used to produce P2S5 in a form suitable for bulk shipping.

Why it's free to use

  • Filed June 27, 1994. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended June 27, 2014.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by June 27, 2016.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
