A linear random copolymer of carbon monoxide and one or more olefinically unsaturated compounds, of which the polymer chain contains units originating in the olefinically unsaturated compound(s) and monomer units originating in carbon monoxide in a molar ratio of from 52.5: 47.5 to 80:20. Process for the preparation of linear random copolymers of carbon monoxide and one or more olefinically unsaturated compounds wherein the monomers are contacted with a catalyst composition comprising a source of palladium and an anionic phosphorus monodentate ligand in a molar ratio of carbon monoxide to the olefinically unsaturated compound(s) in the range of from 1:30 to 1:3.

Why it's free to use
- Filed June 27, 1994. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended June 27, 2014.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by June 27, 2016.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
