Mask patterns and thire exposure times are stored in a memory within a controller. The controller transfers the mask pattern to a memory in the liquid crystal controller. The mask pattern stored in the memory is displayed on the matrix liquid crystal display element. The controller transfers the next mask pattern to memory after the elapse of exposure time. Why it's free to use
- Filed June 20, 1994 and granted October 17, 2000. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended June 20, 2014.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by June 20, 2016.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
