The glass temperature in the forehearth is reduced from the inlet, temperature T1 to an outlet temperature T2. In order to increase the cooling effect while, simultaneously homogenizing the glass temperature at a throughput of at least 70 tons, per day, a raised area is installed in the bottom along the length of the cooling zones to, set a maximum bath depth Dmax of 120mm. Why it's free to use

  • Filed June 15, 1994 and granted November 2, 1999. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended June 15, 2014.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by June 15, 2016.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
