A method which permits easy fusion of commutator risers to armature coils of an electric motor. When there are 20 risers, for example, 10 through-holes are formed in the boss portion of the armature core of the motor each, through-hole being so sized that the back surfaces of two adjacent risers are exposed through each through-hole. Sub-electrodes are inserted into the through-holes such that each sub-electrode supports the back side of the two risers exposed through the through-hole which receives this sub-electrode. Why it's free to use

  • Filed October 1, 1993 and granted March 30, 1999. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended October 1, 2013.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by October 1, 2015.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
