Abstract of the Disclosure, A fluidized bed steam generation system and method in which recycled flue gases are used to assist in passing solid particulate material from the separator through the, loopseal, and back into the furnace. The solid particulate material separated in the cyclone separator and passed back to the furnace is assisted by recycled flue gases which have passed through the heat recovery section, an air heater, and a baghouse. The use of the recycled flue gases decreases the oxygen content which can cause oxidizing or burning of the solid particulate material which results in overheating or agglomeration of the loopseal.

Why it's free to use
- Filed May 26, 1994. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended May 26, 2014.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by May 26, 2016.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
