Abstract From the Canadian patent

The invention relates to an insulating disk (2) composed of electrically insulating and thermally conducting material. According to the invention one side, (8) of said insulating disk (2) is provided centrally with a recess (10) whose cross section is equal to a cross section of a component (4, 6). Consequently the, value of the extinction voltage of the partial discharge and the creeping-discharge and flashover resistance are increased substantially by means of a surface design of said insulating disk (2). Why it's free to use

  • Filed December 13, 1991. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended December 13, 2011.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by December 13, 2013.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
