Abstract From the Canadian patent

A novel magnetic insulating storm window is provided herein. This storm window includes a panel sub-frame which is formed with a pair of spaced-apart vertical mullions, a lower sill and an upper plate each mullion, sill and plate having a dorsal channel provided with at least one resilient gripping member for gripping a panel inserted therein, and a lateral facia channel for holding, a lateral magnetic seal operatively associated therewith.
