A clothes rack is known to be an apparatus for air drying clothes by hanging them on the rack. The idea of the clothes rack came from primitive days when people used to hang their clothes on trees and stones. Today clothes rack is being used in a place of conventional dryers. It is made of wood plastic or steel. Most, clothes racks are used outdoors on balconies and bathtubs to, avoid dripping water from causing damage to carpets indoors and, to avoid wetting upon other surfaces of the house. This invention, the Drying Hanger, can be used anywhere there is a hard surface, without causing damage because it has a dripping tray underneath. It can also dry sweaters by inserting a net on.

Why it's free to use
- Filed November 30, 1994. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended November 30, 2014.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by November 30, 2016.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
