Abstract of the Disclosure This invention relates to a purified, isolated DNA fragment of Bacteroides fragilis comprising a sequence for an operon containing two genes designated rprX and rprY. These genes encode two signal transducing regulatory proteins designated RprX and RprY. This invention further relates to the proteins RprX and RprY encoded by the operon. Why it's free to use
- Filed February 24, 1994. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended February 24, 2014.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by February 24, 2016.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
